Category Archives: Non-binary / Gender

Non-binary refers to people whose gender identity is not exclusively male/man or female/woman. It includes herms, androgynes, two-spirit, genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, bigender, intergender, neutrois, and other people who do not identify within the male/female binary. We note that interex people have the same range of gender identities as non-intersex people, which means that some of us have nonbinary gender identities which match our bodies. This page is for issues/events concerning all non-binary people, because we recognize that people with non-binary gender identities share similar experiences and perspectives, whether intersex or not, and thus work in coalition with other non-binary communities.
